ok.........we need to leave in the am........and we have just learned the road we are to take is closed!..........so re-route we will do!.......i must admit i am quite anxious to get OUT of iowa at this point..........no offense fellow-iowan friends!..........
we drove down I-80 today at about noon and the water had risen very close to road...........and we saw at least a couple dozen deer that were being driven out of the flooded woods.......so sad.....some deer were standing in water up to their necks....
then we drove back on I-80 tonite and the water had very visibly risen higher.......wow........
well..........Georgia here we come!
